Shown right⇒ Our new weather station tower. This station uses state-of-the-art sensors from Campbell Scientific. Sensors shown in this photo include our new CC640 SkyCam, the PWS100 present weather sensor, our new ultrasonic anemometer, the RM Young Wind Monitor.

Other sensors not shown include our new 255-100 Evaporation SubStation, Fuel Moisture & Temperature sensors, Soil Moisture & Temperature sensors, the TB4 tipping bucket rain gauge, the HMP50 ambient & dew point temperature sensor and the CNR1 Net Radiometer.

This vast array of equipment is wired to our new computer system through the CR1000 datalogger & AM16/32B Multiplexer. The new station is set up with its own backup power should power be lost, and is set in over 2,000 pounds of concrete so it's not going anywhere, and will be here for decades to come to serve the our college, our community and colleges & universities around the world.
